2. Contacting the emergency services on 112 or 999.
3. Pushing hard and fast on the chest.
Every year in Ireland thousands die from cardiac arrests – 70 per cent of these happened in the home.
ÍøÆØÃÅ is a vital step in the  after a cardiac arrest. If you have been taught ÍøÆØÃÅ , you are 10 times more likely to respond appropriately in an emergency.

Our ÍøÆØÃÅ courses are provided to the public through our Affiliated Training Sites, which are located around the country.
These organisations are affiliated to the ÍøÆØÃÅ’s ÍøÆØÃÅ programme and teach the standardised ÍøÆØÃÅ courses developed by the American Heart Association (AHA), the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) and the ÍøÆØÃÅ (IHF).
We equip post primary schools with FREE video-based training classes to teach ÍøÆØÃÅ.
